Founded by three experienced lawyers, specialised in asylum and migration law, Pont & Wilg Advocaten opened its doors on the 1st of May 2019.

Our firm offers legal assistance to private and corporate clients. Our services range from advising you on your options in a one-off consultation, guiding you through (complicated) application procedures or conducting procedures on your behalf at the Dutch Immigration Services, the District Courts, the Administrative Judicial Department of the Council of State, or the European Court of Human Rights, if necessary.

Each year lawyers are required, according to the code of the Netherlands Bar Association, to acquire ten permanent education points for each registered field of law.
Our fees
We will discuss our fees and costs with you beforehand.
First consultation
An introductory consultation with one of our lawyers is generally free of charge.
Should you require a more extensive one time consultation, we will discuss the fees before we meet.
Further legal assistance
If further legal assistance is required, the lawyer will assess whether you may qualify for legal aid. (een toevoeging).
For more information on legal aid and the terms and conditions that apply, we refer you to the website of the Legal Aid Board (www.rvr.org) which is also available in English.
In the event you do not qualify for legal aid, we will assist you on the basis of an hourly rate. During the intake consultation, the lawyer will give an assessment of the costs of our legal assistance. Besides our legal fees, you may be charged for application fees, court registry fees, costs for serving a summons, sending registered mail and requesting deeds.
